Tour Description:

This will be a tour by foot. You heard it right. You will have to walk your way around the bustling and busy streets of Malaysia in search of the hidden and lesser-known wonders around the city.  But rest assured that your effort will be handsomely rewarded as you get a first-hand experience and contact with what other tourists might have missed when they visit the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. Now when you imagine a village, you will most definitely imagine the countryside surrounded by lush plants and fresh air with huge patches of land and verdant meadows as far as the eyes can see. However, you do not have to always go far away to the countryside to see a glimpse of village lives. There is one here at Kuala Lumpur - and you are about to go for a fun exploration into the very heart of the village.

In this tour into the heart of Malay New Village in Kuala Lumpur, you will get to visit and learn more about the culture, livelihood, tradition and culinary delight of Malaysia. Your local guide will bring you around to familiarise yourself with what the area has to offer. This includes a visit to Kelab Sultan Sulaiman, Master Mat’s House and Kelab Sultan Sulaiman Gallery. The Kelab Sultan Sulaiman Building was originally made out of wood before being replaced by rock. This historical building was where UMNO was born and served as the place where a variety of other Malayan meetings were held. This history is beautifully chronicled in the gallery so be sure to pay the place a visit. If you are also interested in traditional building architecture, you will be pleased to know that you will also get the chance to visit Rumah Limas built in 1949. This traditional home architecture allows for a glimpse into the past on how people lived in the past and will definitely satisfy your artistic soul.

When you are done with sightseeing, you can also cool down and enjoy some well-deserved street food found around Jalan Raja Muda Musa. It is not every day that you get to enjoy some mouthwatering street cuisine so be sure to go for seconds. When you’re satisfied and your tummy is happy, you will conclude your tour and rest your legs after a full 3-hour-long walk.
