Tour Description:

This entire 3-hour-long tour will be completed by foot. So be sure to keep your legs ready and pack your drinks as it will be a long one. But of course, your 3-hour-long walk is not for nought. You will come to know more about the hidden wonders and beauty of Malaysia up close and personal. In fact, one of them may be closer than you think - as close as being in the heart of Kuala Lumpur itself. Yes, this place called the Malay New Village is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and it is ready to surprise you. It is home to historical sites, beautiful and bustling streets which are teeming with different allure. If you are interested in learning more about traditional architecture, it is also home to Rumah Limas which you can see for yourself. It is a cultural and historical hub that constantly reminds the people around of the ancestral root of the Malaysian peninsula - and we are sure you will like it too.

In this tour into the heart of Malay New Village in Kuala Lumpur, you will get to visit and learn more about the culture, livelihood, tradition and culinary delight of Malaysia. You will visit the Kelab Sultan Sulaiman both the building and gallery, the Rumah Limas which was built in 1949 and get the chance to go to Jalan Alang for an evening street bazaar. The Kelab Sultan Sulaiman Building was where the UMNO was born and throughout the historical record, served as a meeting place for locals to discuss and gather at. The history of the place is beautifully told in the gallery so be sure to pay it a visit as well. The Rumah Limas is reminiscent of traditional houses and tells the untold history of the changing architecture of ancient vs modern Malaysia. If you are an avid fan of architecture, you will surely find that the experience will come to enrich your soul. Then, make your way to the street bazaar at Jalan Alang where you will be able to go for an evening shopping. Feast your eyes on the variety of items sold on the spot and stock up on your souvenir purchases in the bazaar itself. You might just find some locally made items that you cannot find elsewhere too!

What is a trip without some good local street food? As you make your way down Jalan Raja Muda Musa, you will get to try out various mouthwatering street food that is uniquely Malaysian. Be sure to go for seconds as you taste the delicious palate and servings of the street food that you will not find anywhere else. With your tummy happy and your sightseeing completed, you will conclude the tour and go back to rest your legs.
