Tour Description:

Make your way through beaten paths in an energetic 4WD as it takes you on an off-road ride uphill and downhill! You will be taken through the Benom range to the Lata Berembun waterfall, one of Pahang’s best natural treasures. Despite this waterfall being one that is hard-to-reach, many have travelled from afar, not just within Malaysia but also from Singapore, just to visit these falls. This should be enough of a testament to the beauty of Berembun waterfall.

Due to its location that is deep within the Benom range, it is at a relatively high altitude with its surrounding forests remaining untouched. Thanks to these factors, the waterfall area is able to maintain its cooler temperature, as the thick foliage of tall trees does their best to keep most of the sun’s rays out. Upon reaching the waterfalls, you will be greeted by the constant breeze that blows from the impact of the powerful cascading water crashing into the pool at its base.

The waters of Berembun waterfall flow downwards from a series of 7 or so cascades down huge granite boulders, and its currents are strong and cold. The natural pool at the base of the waterfall is large and deep, so if you want to swim, you must wear a life jacket. The waterfall and its surroundings create a pleasant setting perfect for a picnic, as the rush of water in the background serves as white noise and the beautiful green trees provide the right amount of shade.
