Explore and be amazed by the unseen beauty of Thailand off the beaten tracks on a bicycle.
Day 1 - Bangkok / Amphawa
Thailand has always been regarded as a tourist hotspot with Bangkok city being its main destination. The life at Bangkok does not stop whether it is at night or in the morning. We will bring you to a different side of Bangkok that is different to what people has always known of Bangkok. At the start of the tour, we will pick you up from your hotel in Bangkok and drive to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is one of the best floating market available in Thailand. It is big and has an enormous quantity of things to buy which also includes souvenirs. The market is also always busy with tourists and locals both shopping in the market. You will get to experience how does the trading situation look like centuries before. At the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, we will hop on a long-tail boat and ride to Wat Amphawan Chetiyaram through the canals. The temple is a second class Royal Temple. After a brief visit to the temple, we will hop on our bikes and cycle along the backroads or alleyways. We will pass by coconut plantations, several fruit orchards and a few temples along the way. After stopping for a lunch, the cycle continues on quiet and beautiful trails in the area and prepare to be treated by some amazing views of Thailand countryside.
Day 2 - Ampawa / Kaeng Krachan
After a hearty breakfast, we will transfer for approximately 1.5 hours to Kaeng Krachan National Park. It is Thailand’s largest national park and an excellent place for any adventure enthusiasts. There is a huge diversity of wildlife in this large national park. We will visit a prison facility that looks like a nice park with clay houses and animal farms. Here at the prison, good-standing inmates get trained in vocational skills such as building clay houses, car mechanics, farming, and caring for livestock before their release. The prison is unique as it is an open prison camp where the public can visit to use the services provided by the inmates such as a haircut, drinking coffee, or having their car fixed. After a lunch, we hop on the bikes and cycle on again. We now cycle on the edge of a large reservoir where we can enjoy the views and cool breezes. We will ride along the shoreline and have a view on an impressive dam. The cycling tour continues on more peaceful countryside trails. We will end our ride at our very comfortable and secluded resort by the river. You can enjoy a massage or swim in the hotel before eating dinner at the resort.
Day 3 - Pranburi / Bangkok
After having breakfast, we start our journey with a short transfer of around 1.5 hours to our starting point just outside Hua Hin. Along with this ride, we will pass by fishing villages, schools, temples and several coconut plantations. The cycling trails along the coast will make your cycling experience very relaxing. Then, we will pass along Khao Kalok, which is a large rock that separates one bay from another. If you are able to climb to the top of the rock, it offers you an amazing view. Our cycling tour will end at a local restaurant overlooking the sea where we will have a delicious cooked lunch before heading to a local resort, back to Hua Hin or Bangkok.
