Tour Description:

The surrounding islands of Nha Trang may not be as large as the islands around Ha Long. However, what it lacks in size it makes up for in sheer richness of biodiversity. Hon Mun Island, for example, is a rich coral farmland that houses up to 1,500 different coral species – a number so great and important for the ocean ecosystem that the government has actually designated the island as Vietnam’s first Marine Protected Area. Indeed, in this trip, you will visit this coral island and dive straight into the source of its wonder as you get to know more about the different coral species around the turquoise water of the South China Sea and its many inhabitants. This trip is tailored for experienced scuba diver who wishes to get the full underwater experience of Hon Mun Island, so if you are looking for an adventurous afternoon full of coral exploration around the scenic spots of Hon Mun Island’s water, this is the perfect trip for you! 

Your tour begins in the early morning with your guide picking you up at your hotel and driving you straight to the harbour. Once you are at the harbour, you will ride your way to Hon Mun Island Marine Park for 40 minutes. Interestingly too, the beautiful Hon Mun Marine Park is Vietnam’s first designated Marine Protected Area, owing much of its protection to the rich and colourful species of corals found around the seabed. There are up to 1,500 different species of corals – all home to the small fishes hanging around the coral in search of food and home. Of course, what better ways to learn more about them than by diving straight into the source of study? So get yourself ready and suited up because you will scuba dive your way straight into the cool ocean water and lay your eyes on the beautiful lining of corals right underneath your feet. You can also hang around and wait for the small fishes to come out of the corals in search of food for that beautiful picture of your ocean excursion. With diving done, you will have some time to relax and recharge on the boat and enjoy some light morning snacks. Not long afterwards, you will continue heading your way to your next diving spot to further explore the underwater world of Hon Mun Island. When you are satisfied, head back to the shore for lunch and to conclude your tour back at your hotel. 

Cancellation Policy:

• All cancellation from guest incur additional charges as follows:
• 48 hours before the departure day: 50% charge of the total tour cost.
• After 48 hours before the departure day or no-show: 100% charge of the total tour cost
• Customers cannot receive any types of compensation in the case of annulations is due to a force majeure
