Tour Description:

Located at the Mekong Delta, Ben Tre offers you a personalised view of the delta up close and personal. This includes the many different architectural build and wonders found around the area. Its proximity to the Mekong Delta gives rise to a thriving community consisting of farmers, fishermen and merchants going about their daily toil. Further supported by the extensive irrigation and canal, the city offers a perfect and peaceful getaway from the busyness of the city. You will also get to stay with a local host and learn more about local family lives along the way.

Day 1 - Cai Be Floating Market / Ben Tre (Lunch & Dinner)

You will depart from Ho Chi Minh City for Tien Giang with an approximately 2 hours’ travel time. Upon arriving at Tien Giang, you will travel by boat to Cai Be Floating Market. The boat trip will take you along the trail of the market where you will have a glimpse into the life of the working locals and the busyness of the market in full view. You will then have your lunch at a local house. With lunch done, you will be able to try your hand at fishing with traditional tools by casting nets and laying traps on the canal. Then, help your host prepare dinner at your host home before settling in for the night.

Day 2 - Live The Life Of Local People In The Countryside (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

After breakfast, travel by bicycle to a local market. It is similar to the flea market where local people gather together and trade so this is the perfect chance to get your grocery shopping done. Afterwards, you will return to your host house where you will get to participate in farming with the local people and experience the daily toil of farmers. Lunch will be served at a local home and after dressing up, you will head to the water and catch some fish in southerner’s traditional outfits. With your fishing trip done, you will head back and help your host prepare for dinner. Once dinner is done, you will relax on a hammock near the riverbed. Surround yourself with the peace and quiet of the night as you slowly lull yourself to sleep.

Day 3 - Cai Mon Orchard Garden (Breakfast & Lunch)

You will visit the Cai Mon Orchard Garden in Ben Tre Province today. Continue your trip to visit Cai Mon Church, one of the oldest churches in the Mekong Delta. It is also interesting to note that it was named after the word “caiman” due to the abundance of crocodiles in the old days. The church itself was built in the 1800s by a French priest and id today famous for its unique architecture works. The last stop on this tour is the potted plants and saplings in Vinh Bac. With that done, you will have your lunch and head back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Cancellation Policy:

• All cancellation from guest incur additional charges as follows:
• 48 hours before the departure day: 50% charge of the total tour cost.
• After 48 hours before the departure day or no-show: 100% charge of the total tour cost
• Customers cannot receive any types of compensation in the case of annulations is due to a force majeure
