Spend your evening exploring and tasting out the many local cuisine and beverages Hoi An has in store as you go around the city block on a U.S. Army Jeep ride.
Make the best of your evening with this culinary tour and enjoy an authentic introduction to some incredible food and beverages Hoi An has to offer. You will be picked up at your accommodation in Hoi An and beach areas by our guide and driver by Jeep/side-car. As the sun sets and the local street food stalls and restaurants spring to life, you will get to experience a run around the different city blocks of Hoi An on the comfort of a U.S. Army Jeep. Get yourself ready for some fresh seafood, Vietnamese pancakes and other local specialities all waiting for you to choose from. You will then be taken to the first restaurant on the itinerary to enjoy your first two local dishes: Fried Squid with Fish Sauce, Lime Sugar served together with Cucumber and Mint and Mixed Salad with Jellyfish served with Peanut and Rice Crackers - Banh Trang. Here, you will be offered a single bottle of Larue Beer to try for yourself. It is a very popular beer that is loved by local people in the olden days of Hoi An due to its quality freshness and good price. You will also find out how locals put their glass together for a cheer and chant together the word “MỘT, HAI, BA, DÔ – ONE, TWO, THREE, CHEERS”.
After a good meal, you will proceed to your next destination. Your guide will drive you to the second restaurant where you will have a better opportunity to enjoy your third and the fourth local dishes. They are: Stir Sea Snails with Crispy Garlic and Grilled Ca Keo - Goby Fish with Chilli by Bamboo Stick. And the best way to enjoy this is with another local beer - Saigon Beer. Do not forget to say the cheer “MỘT, HAI, BA, DÔ – ONE, TWO, THREE, CHEERS” as you enjoy the drinks and have a little chat with the locals.
Next, you will be driven to your final restaurant to enjoy some Grilled Chicken and Sticky Rice Wrapped by Banana Leaf. You will get your final drink with 333 Beer (3 is read as “Ba” which also means “father” in Vietnamese). Now that you are full and happy after a full evening of food hunt, it is time for some entertainment with some Karaoke by Side Car/Jeep. Lastly, we will stop by the local street fruit shop where you can get a glass of Sinh To Mixed Shaked Fruits (Avocado, banana, mango, custard apple, condensed milk and dried coconut) before we drive you back to your hotel and end your tour for the night at around 9 P.M.
