Tour Description:

The rural livelihood of Hoi An is still primarily made of fishing and farming. The fertile farmland, the bountiful river and the knowledge of handicraft passed down through countless generations all make up parts and parcels of the beautiful rural area and you will get to explore each and every one of them. Get your hands dirty and busy with some farming on the rice fields and fishing by Thu Bon River as you ride away with your environmentally friendly electric scooter throughout your entire countryside Hoi An journey.  

Hop on your scooter and start exploring Hoi An’s hidden gems and friendly local folks as you go. First up is a drive to Cam Thanh through the countryside where you will experience up close the lush and fertile beauty of the rice paddies and grazing buffalo by the field, all of which are guaranteed to provide plenty of perfect photo opportunities for you to take and enjoy. Then, take a boat ride to a local fishing village located at the mouth of the Thu Bon river where villagers live and support themselves by fishing around the riverbed. After a short boat trip, you will hang and stroll around to experience and witness the local daily life around the area. When you are done, continue walking your way to mam a.k.a. the salted fish factory. Mam products are popular among locals and food lovers, including their reputable dipping sauce which goes well with local seafood dishes. After leaving the pier, take a short trip through Cam Thanh village and learn how to craft your own stuff from water coconut leaves  by learning firsthand from friendly local people.

For the last stop of the tour, you will join farmers in preparing and fertilizing the land with seaweed from the local lake. You will try out raking, sowing, picking greens and many more farmland activities as you go as well. After spending time with local farmers, you will spend the rest of the day working the land until it is time to enjoy some sumptuous food alongside a local family. You will also get to enjoy some Tam Huu Spring Roll (rice paper roll packed with pork, prawn, mint and coriander) and a serving of local pancakes from central Vietnam before you finally conclude your tour.

Cancellation Policy:

• All cancellation from guest incur additional charges as follows:
• 48 hours before the departure day: 50% charge of the total tour cost.
• After 48 hours before the departure day or no-show: 100% charge of the total tour cost
• Customers cannot receive any types of compensation in the case of annulations is due to a force majeure
