Get out of the city radar and plunge yourself onto the country road as you explore the different parts of Hoi An countrysides.
The city of Hoi An is not the only place that will captivate and capture your heart. Vietnam is abundant with many beautiful and serene countrysides that are simply waiting for you to explore. Each village also has its own unique culture, location and view. In terms of location, you have villages that are located by the river, coconut forest and even mangrove forest. Each place is also famous for its different specialty. Be it pottery, harvest or fishing zone, these villages are sure to open your eyes to the different lives of the Hoi An countryside.
Pick your transportation choice by either a motorbike or a car. If you wish for a more up close and direct engagement and experience with the road and people, the motorbike is more suitable for you. However, if you wish to kick back and relax as you make your way to the countryside, you should pick the car. Either way, do not forget to enjoy the country road and view as you make your way around different villages.
After we pick you up from your hotel, you will go for your first village of the day - Tra Que Village. Famous for its produce harvest and fertile soil, the Tra Que Village specialises in its abundant and quality harvest above all else. You will be able to take a trip to ts vegetable garden and drink a cup of local coffee to pass your time there. The nearby river helps make the soil fertile and if you venture out long enough, you will be able to see the river up close as well.
The next destination is Thanh Ha Village. Located near by Thu Thu Bon River, the village itself is famous for its pottery culture and craft. Having been around for 500 years, the skillful and beautiful craftsmanship is the result of century long knowledge and wisdom. You will also be able to experience their skill firsthand by participating in the pottery lesson together with the craftsman.
Onwards on our agenda is Kim Bong Village. A carpentry village, you will get to see the beautiful works of artisans through their wood sculpture, furnitures, religious statues and crafted wooden doors. What is more, you will also have the chance to try and make your very own rice noodle at this village. You have tried the delicious rice noodle and now you will learn from the professional on how to make that long and delicious rice noodle that you have always enjoyed.
Finally, visit the Cam Thanh Village for your final destination. The catch is, you will visit the village by a bamboo boat and you will get to see surrounding of the village that is covered with green coconut forest. In the village itself is a smaller Cam Thanh Water Coconut Village, an ecological zone with mangrove water. It is here that you will be able to learn sme fishing techniques and how to properly ride a bamboo basket boat.
