Tour Description:

Your half-day tour starts off with picking you up from either a hotel of your choice or the port (If you are currently on a cruise). You can discuss possible pick up timings with our concierge to meet your schedule. After meeting your friendly guide that will be travelling with you for half the day, you will head to off to your first destination on your city tour.

You can head to the Reunification Palace, which is also called the White House of the Republic of Vietnam prior to the falling to the northern Vietnamese. Catch a glimpse of the everyday life of the president and his living quarters, remember to take some photos to remember such an event. You may also opt to head to Notre Dame Cathedral that is built in the 1880s by the French colonist. There, you will find well-preserved architecture that is a sight to behold. The Central Post Office that is a short walk away from the Cathedral is a famous landmark where you can send postcards to your friends and family members to share your experience.

Next, walk down the narrow and busy Dong Khoi Street which is the heart of the city’s commercial life and it is the best place to appreciate the grand old colonial buildings. You will also visit the City Hall Headquarter which faces the opulent Nguyen Hue Boulevard. Prepare to snap away as you walk as you will be able to take many iconic photos which reflects the rich culture and identity of Vietnam. Do also check out the nearby Opera House where traditional shows are still being performed every night.

After doing most of the common attractions, the tour will move on to locations that are off the unbeaten track. Adventure the Vietnamese markets that housewives purchase their weekly produce and enjoy the coffee culture by experiencing a dynamic atmosphere that is unique to Vietnam.

Lastly, before the tour ends, you will have 2 options of going to Ben Thanh Market to get some local merchandise or a traditional lacquerware factory that is located on the outskirt of town. Ben Thanh Market is famed for the huge variety of goods that are sold there, and you can bargain to slash prices. Meanwhile, at the other experience is getting handcrafted lacquerware which is produced in Vietnam.

Finally, the tour ends with sending you back to the hotel or any other location that you want to go to.
