Tour Description:

As learning about the past is the key to understand the present and prepare for the future, we will embark on a historical exploration around Saigon to discover the stories of Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Once we pick you up from your hotel on our military Jeep, we will begin our city tour. Our first stop is the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of South Vietnamese President during the war. The palace was the site where the war came to an end as the North Vietnamese Army’s tank crashed through its gates during the Fall of Saigon operation. After that, we will visit the War Remnants Museum where we will learn more about war history. Besides the numerous artefacts and photographs about the Vietnam War, we could also view the collection of bombs, tanks, planes and helicopters displayed in the outdoor area.

As we have done exploring the city, we will drive for around 2 hours to reach Mr. Mushroom’s farm and restaurant. We will tour the farm and learn about the vegetables being cultivated here before finally enjoying our lunch made out of fresh produce from the farm. After we have satisfied our hunger, we will head towards the Cu Chi Tunnels on a short 15-minute Jeep ride. Before we start wandering around the area, we will watch an introductory video explaining about the tunnels and the war history. Then, we can experience how the Viet Cong soldiers lived during the war as we visit the underground living quarters and walk down the tunnel. There are also various booby traps, bomb craters and abandoned American tank at the jungle around this area. If you would like to try using the war-era guns, you can check out the nearby shooting range at your own expense. Once we finish immersing ourselves in history, we will return to Ho Chi Minh City and conclude the tour as we drop you off at your hotel.
