Tour Description:

Day 1 – Jakarta / Cibodas / Kandang Badak

Upon arrival at Jakarta, you’ll be picked up by your tour guide at 4:30 am. From there you’ll be driven 3 and a half hours away to Cibodas village. Once you reach Cibodas, you’ll prepare your supplies for the porters before going on your trek starting at 9 am.

Day 2 – Kandang Badak / Pangrango Peak / Mt. Gede Peak / Surya Kencana

Wake up early at 3 am and have a light breakfast with hot coffee or tea before going on your trek. Take a leisurely stroll through Gede Pangrango, one of the oldest national parks in Indonesia. You’ll be trekking through lush, verdant forests, offering you amazing sights and sounds while you walk. After 2.5 hours of walking, you’ll reach Pangrango Peak to get an amazing view of the forest and mountains. Get all the photos you want before you head to your camp at Kandang Badak for a proper breakfast. You’ll take a rest for lunch and once you’re done, you’ll continue trekking to Geger Summit. At the summit, you’ll get to really take in the beauty of nature as you chill on the top of this mountain and just look at the view in front of you. Then get back to hiking till you finally reach Gede Summit! You’ll feel on top of this world as you stand on the peak of Mt. Gede, overlooking the beautiful mountains and valleys. Once you’ve had your fill you’ll head to your next campsite at Surya Kencana which is a meadow covered in pretty Edelweiss flowers.

Day 3 – Surya Kencana / Gunung Putri / Jakarta

Get up bright and early in the morning as you try to catch the sunrise at Gede summit for some breathtaking photographs. If you’re feeling tired and don’t want to wake up early you can just stay at the camp at Surya Kencana to enjoy the fresh morning, mountain breeze. At 10 am you’ll head down the mountain using the Gunung Putri Route which will take around 3 hours by foot. Once you arrive at Gunung Putri village, you’ll be driven back to Jakarta to end the trip.

• The max elevation of the hike is 2,958 m at Gede Summit and 3,019 m at Pangrango Summit

• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during stipulated time
• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
