Tour Description:

When you are in Hoi An, one of the best activities you can do to truly experience the natural beauty of Vietnam is through caving at Heaven’s Gate. Whether you are an expert or beginner climber, our professional guide will bring you on this ultimate cliff and cave rappelling adventure. We will begin our journey by picking you up from your hotel in Hoi An and transfer you to the starting point of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. In around two and a half hours, we will arrive at the former military supply route which boasts lush mountains and beautiful mountain passes along the way. We will head towards the Cong Troi (Pra Zoong or Heaven’s Gate) Cave located between two mountains deep inside a virgin thick forest. As the cave is situated near the Bhom Lom River, you can expect trekking through the river and taking in the beautiful sights of the unspoiled forest.

After traversing for around 300 meters along the Pra Zoong Cave, we will be welcomed with the view of massive stalactites and stalagmites formations. Developed over thousands of years through the deposit of minerals by the water droplets, the stalactites and stalagmites have formed impressive arches and pillars. While we are here, we will also experience the highlight of this caving adventure: rappelling down into the cave from 50 meters in the air. Moreover, you will also get to be lowered down for 15 meters over a waterfall and swim at the small pool near its base. As we complete this activity, we will take a rest and indulge in our picnic lunch near the waterfall. Our caving adventure concludes as we hike back to the main road and ride back to Hoi An.

• Exceptions may be made in case of extreme weather conditions on day trips only
• Any deposits being paid in advance may or may not be refundable, depending on the trip and time of cancellation
