Tour Description:

Today, we bring you to yet another local and personalised experience with local Hanoi family. This time, you will get to spend your evening chatting under the sun and cooking dinner with locals. If you love cultural exchange, sharing your story and some good homemade food then you must definitely not miss this opportunity. You can expect a friendly and warm welcome from the family as you spend the night and share the joy of cooking with them. They might even teach you some secret ingredient and technique that you can use for your own cooking!

Get ready as we head straight to the home of a local family after we pick you up from your hotel. The short ride will go through some of the communities and regions of Hanoi so sit back, enjoy the journey and you might just pick up some new discovery from the neighbourhood and community that you had previously missed. Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed with a cup of tea and a friendly banter with the host family. Experience the difference in the life and daily dynamic of a local family as you share your culture, story and experience in Hanoi thus far. If you have any questions about Hanoi, this is the perfect time to ask them. After all, who best to ask this question to than a member of the city itself? If you’d like to, you can also join the children at their games and have some fun with them. You will be surprised at just how boisterous and curious they can actually be. Don’t be surprised if they start asking about you as well!

After some engaging conversation and games, it is time to cook. The menu is, of course, a Vietnamese recipe. Learn the different ingredient used in making the food and be surprised at just how similar or different the recipe can actually be. Don’t forget that extra spice that makes the food unique to the family too! After the hard work, serve the dinner that you’ve cooked and shared it with the family. Smile and laugh as you enjoy the delicious food you cook at the dinner table alongside the family for a lively dinner together.  

As you finish dinner, if you have any gift to share with the family, do share it now before you conclude the dinner and go back to your hotel after an amazing night with an amazing company.

Cancellation Policy:

• For cancellations more than 29 days prior to tour date, a 10% fee is incurred
• For cancellations between 16 - 28 days prior to tour date, a 40% fee is incurred
• For cancellations between 11 - 15 days prior to tour date, a 65% fee is incurred
• For cancellations between 4 - 10 days prior to tour date, a 85% fee is incurred
• For cancellations 3 days and below prior to tour date, 100% fee is incurred
