Tour Description:

If you want to learn more about Vietnamese culture, the best place to start your discovery is in the countryside around the Red River Delta. Located not too far away from Hanoi, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you there. With a history spanning over thousands of years, there are many hidden treasures and cultural sites in the countryside. We will cross the Red River and drive along the river bank on our Jeep to reach our first stop, the Bat Trang Pottery Village. As the village is well-known for producing ceramic crafts over the last 500 years, we will visit a family-owned workshop to admire the local craftsmanship and learn about the process of making ceramic products.

After that, we will leave the village and continue driving on our Jeep through the countryside towards a special bonsai village. As the name implies, we will pass by many bonsai farms and fruit orchards that are cultivated for the New Year celebration. Our final stop for the day is a 300-year-old ancient garden house where we will learn more about the past history of Vietnamese traditional village. Our friendly host will guide us around his house and prepare a cosy meal for us to enjoy with his family. Once we have a better understanding of the Vietnamese culture, we will conclude the tour and return to Hanoi. We will drop you off at a place of your choice.
