Tour Description:

Have you ever wished you were as good at cooking as Gordon Ramsay? How do you think he would fare when it comes to Hanoi cuisine? While it is definitely different from a western recipe, cooking local Vietnamese dishes do not necessarily have to be hard - and our local Hanoi chefs are happy to convince you. If you love good food, good company and new experience, this is an opportunity that you simply cannot miss.

First off, you can make a choice. The tour can bring you around Hanoi with a motorbike or a car. If you wish to feel pumped and adventurous as you ride along the streets of Hanoi, look no more than the motorbike. The feeling of wind rushing through your cheeks will energise you throughout the entirety of the tour. If you wish to experience a more calming and relaxing journey while listening to your favourite radio channel, go for the car. The ride will offer you a perfect balance between relaxation and enjoyment as you cruise through the streets of Hanoi.

After picking you up from the hotel, we will head straight to the local market to buy some ingredients before visiting the house of a local family to start the lesson. You will get to cook three different popular dishes and one famous drink:

1. Vietnamese Grilled Pork with Noodles - rice noodle dish with Vietnamese grilled pork, fresh herbs and vegetables
2. Stir-fried Morning Glory with Garlic - try out a recipe of “Morning Glory” dipped in spice
3. Vietnamese Spring Roll - pork, prawn, herbs, rice vermicelli and many others wrapped in rice paper, a signature of Vietnamese cuisine
4. Lemon Tea - a simple but symbolic drink of Hanoi

After you finish cooking, sit down and enjoy the food you have made. Share your knowledge on cooking and note down the recipe so that you can try it again once you go back home. If you are enthusiastic about the cooking, feel free to also put a creative twist to the recipe once you go back and make it your own.

After a good and hearty lunch, we will pick you up and send you back to the hotel to conclude the afternoon tour.
