Tour Description:

Explore the richness of Vietnam pottery as you step into Bat Trang Pottery Village. This seven-century old pottery village has survived hitherto and is here to tell you the art of pottery passed down from long ago. Not to mention that since Hanoi is known for the plethora of traditional craft villages, you are sure to be impressed with the crafts and techniques of Bat Trang pottery.

After the pickup, our trip starts with a cup of egg coffee at “Giang Cafe”. At first glance, it looks a lot like Caffe Macchiato but you soon realise that the egg coffee packs an additional surprise in its concoction as you taste the egg yolk in the drink. After that novel experience, we shall continue with a motorbike ride along Chuong Duong Bridge. You will get to enjoy the panoramic view while feeling the rush of wind on your cheek. If you prefer enjoying the ride by car, it is also possible to request a private car service as you chill and enjoy the ride. Upon arrival at the Bat Trang Pottery Village, you will get to explore, try out and get the creative juice flowing as you try out pottery for yourself. This is the chance to craft your own masterpiece and try out that pot design that you always secretly want.

Afterwards, we will also bring you to visit the village’s local pottery market where you will find rich selections of handcrafted pottery items such as vases, pots, cups, plates and even statues all made by the capable and skillful craft of talented workers. Be amazed as you look at the different variety and design of ceramic houseware available for your choosing. Do not forget to also try some sweet potato cake as you explore the market’s nook and cranny. It’s a local snack and one that you will not want to miss out on. Finally, as the tour reaches its conclusion, enjoy the beautiful scenery from Long Bien Bridge with some scrumptious roasted corn before we finish the day and drop you off back to your hotel.
