Tour Description:

Buddhism is Vietnam’s largest religion. Making up 90% of the total population, it is unsurprising that Vietnam is rich with beautiful pagodas embellishing the city surroundings, including Hue city. Every year, various festivals and activities are held in celebration of the many Buddhism festivities that attract locals and visitors alike. This very tour is designed to discover the teachings of Buddhism and the history of the religion. You will be able to learn firsthand as you engage in the routine of the Buddhist way of life and be immersed in the values instilled in the Buddhist lifestyle.

Pick your travel style as you can opt to travel with style on a motorbike or elegance behind the wheels of a car. Whichever one you choose, you will get to experience the bustling life of Hue city as you cruise through the blocks and around the corner. Get your cameras snapping as you drive down the road and see the lively local life and daily activities yourself.

We will come pick you up at the hotel first thing in the morning and brief you through the day’s plan. Once everybody is accounted for, we will head for Hue old house and enjoy some amazing Zen tea. Sip in the delicious flavour and enjoy the fresh morning air as you prepare for your religious discovery that is about to come. Finishing your tea, you will make your way to the pagoda and begin your Buddhist journey. Meet up with the female nuns practising the Buddhist lifestyle in the pagoda who are more than happy to share the journey with you. They will teach you how to meditate and walk in mindfulness throughout the morning before having lunch together. After the morning pilgrimage, you will visit the beautiful Tu Hieu pagoda and learn of the hidden story behind the place. Continue your journey by visiting the Lady Budda statue and enjoy the serene surrounding of the peaceful place. Finally, we will head to the Thien Lam pagoda where you can see the architecture of Thai styled pagoda. Learn for yourself just how similar and different the pagodas are in Vietnam and Thailand. After the half day journey, we will drive you back and drop you off at your hotel!
