Stop by Inerie volcano for picture-taking, Aimere village to watch the "arak” distillation process and fresh palm juice tapping, and Ranamese Lake to admire the peak of Mount Inerie. Upon your arrival in Ruteng, check in to your hotel and then visit “Liang Bua”, home of the Homo Florensies in the past.

Day 4 – Ruteng / Denge / Wae Rebo

After your breakfast, head for the Denge village, which serves as the starting point for your trek to Wae Rebo. Wae Rebo is the oldest traditional village in the Manggarainesse. Upon arriving in Wae Rebo village, you will get to explore their unique conical houses, one of which is the “drum house” where they hold their meetings, rituals and Sunday morning prayers. Enjoying dinner with the locals and spending a night in one of their houses is an experience not to be missed out on.

After your breakfast, trek down to Denge village located at the western tip of Flores. Along the way, stops will be made by Narang where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the rice paddy fields surrounded by lush hills in the background.
