Tour Description:

Join the tour and embark on a scenic drive along the coastal roads of Terengganu and enjoy Malaysia’s longest beach and the view of the South China Sea that is dotted with vibrant, varicoloured fishing boats bobbing up and down. At 6.15 pm, we will disembark and explore one of Malaysia’s most picturesque fishing village, Kampung Penarik and witness the locals and their lifestyle; as they prepare for the closing of the day. Take a picture or two of the traditional Malay houses before we head to the beach to enjoy a relaxing picnic dinner and listen to the waves gently lap the soft shores.

The highlight of the tour has got to be the fireflies sanctuary by the riverside. As we journey along the river on a boat; surrounded by mangrove forests on both sides. To those who have deep knowledge in botany would know that the trees lining the river are Sonneratia caseolaris trees(known as Berembang to the locals). Keep paddling along the river and quietly observe one of nature’s most beautiful phenomenon; the dance of the fireflies, flashing their lights in synchrony—displaying an ethereal beauty that would leave you amazed. At around 9.30 pm, we will drop you back at your hotel to turn in for the night.
