Tour Description:

Embark on an adventure to Desaru, a picturesque stretch of sandy beach that is shielded from the hustle and bustle Johor Bahru city. Its beauty is one of Johor’s best-kept secrets. Upon arrival at Sungai Lebam, hop on the boat that is waiting for you by the mangrove wood and get cosy as the boat glides off into the mangrove swamp forest. There will be life jackets on the boat for your safety. These untouched mangrove swamp forests are an important part of the ecosystem as this is the habitat for many species of animals that have settled here.

Your tour guide will feed you amazing stories and interesting facts about the fireflies and its life cycle on the boat ride. As you head deeper into the darkness of the night, you will be mesmerized by the enchanting lights that appear to be dancing in the dark. The glow of light coming from the fireflies stand out like magical stars in the darkness and is truly a remarkable sight to witness. After a wonderful time admiring the stunning lightning bugs, we will head back to the floating restaurant for a delicious local dinner. Make your way to your seats via the wooden floorboards on the unique floating restaurant and satisfy your hunger before you end your adventure.
