With a long stretch of palm trees lining up the beaches around Mui Ne, the shoreline of Mui Ne looks a lot like your dream ocean vacation. Its steady wind and high waves also make it an ideal place for some good surfing, kitesurfing, sailing and windsurfing. For locals, Mui Ne is also a popular getaway spot due to its calming surroundings and scenic views. But the beach is not the only attractive thing when it comes to Mui Ne. It is also home to the largest Buddha statue in Southeast Asia - and you will also have the chance to see it up close and take beautiful pictures of it for your own photo album.
Day 1 - Ho Chi Minh City / Mui Ne (Lunch & Dinner)
You will start your day with a minivan ride to Mui Ne. Famed among the tourists because of its pristine beaches, Mui Ne’s ideal weather and famous water sports, especially kite-surfing, has made it an attractive tourist destination. On the way to Mui Ne, you will visit Ta Cu tourist area where you can conquer Ta Cu Mountain which stands 490 m above sea level. On the mountain, there is a pagoda named after the same mountain and is located at a height of 400 m above sea level. This pagoda is recognized as the national cultural- historical site in Vietnam and is the perfect place to see the mountaintop view of the surrounding area. While you are there, you will visit the 49-meter-long statue of “Lying Buddha in Nirvana”, Southeast Asia’s biggest Buddha statue.
Day 2 - Mui Ne / Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast & Lunch)
You will wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the Mui Ne Red Sand Dunes. Afterwards, you will visit the Fairy Spring and the Fishing Village for some romantic getaway. With a range of white and red sand mountains on the sides and coconut trees and luxuriant tree clusters around the roads, you will find that the entire area exude a romantic aura which is perfect for your picture taking opportunity. Next, you will move to Mui Ne Fishing Village to take part in the busy fishing industry of the village. If you have some additional time, you can also enjoy a light stroll inside the village to understand more about the process of drying sea food and making fish sauce.
After the tour, take the rest of the day to relax on the beach or simply take part in some water sports. You will then enjoy some Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant before heading back to Ho Chi Minh to conclude your tour.
