Tour Description:

Traverse through Mother Nature’s creation by taking a stroll along the valley of Mae Sa where you will be encompassed by an abundance of nature. The Mae Sa valley is forested are located in the heart of Chiang Mai. Take a car ride through the forest through a scenic route to the Mae Sa Elephant camp where you will encounter the friendly giants in their humble abode. Elephants are highly revered in the Thai culture and it has made a substantial impact to the Thai culture. For centuries, elephants were one of the finest modes of transportation for logging, travelling and the intelligent creatures were even used as weapons for war. You will have a chance to discover the extent of intelligence of these friendly beasts by watching an hour-long show, which demonstrates the pachyderm skills.

Fall in love with the wonderful beasts after observing their genial and docile nature. The happy creatures of the Elephant Camp will be performing the elephant painting where the elephants can hold a paintbrush using their trunks. The elephant paintings can be purchased at the end of the tour, making it as a unique souvenir for you to be brought home. The entertaining elephant show will have you filled with laughter and love for the gentle giant. Your journey continues with a trip to the beautiful Orchard farm where you will be surrounded by luscious green scenery with sprinkles of colour to signify the flower of the plant.

Thailand is known for its abundance of orchid species, with more than 1300 species that are found all around the country. In this large complex, you will be able to witness a wide variety of the colourful flora. Behold the sights of a wide variety of orchids in different shapes and sizes, as they are congregated into one place for you to explore and discover! In the past, there has been an export market for wild orchids to be exchanged but it was banned in the 50’s as the habitat grows smaller, with each passing year. However, some species of orchids may even fetch a large sum of money from orchid-collecting enthusiasts.
