Explore the attractions of Flores such as the Bena Village and marvel at the beautiful sights such as Wawomuda volcano.
Day 1 – Denpasar / Ende / Moni
After you arrived, meet up with your guide then drive to Moni. On your way there you’ll make a stop at Detusoko to see the beautiful terraced rice fields. Once you arrive in Moni you’ll check in to your accommodation.
Day 2 – Moni / Kelimutu / Bajawa
Wake up early in the morning and head to Kelimutu Volcano to watch the sunrise. You’ll also get to see the tri-coloured crater lakes at the volcano. The lakes range from a vibrant blue to mossy green to an intense red making for a unique sight to see. Continue your journey to Saga and Wologai villages to observe the daily routines of the locals and to learn more about their culture. Then drive to Bajawat and while you’re on your way there you’ll be served lunch. You’ll also make a stop at the Penggajawa Blue Stone beach which is made up entirely of turquoise stones that local women collect to sell as garden decorations.
Day 3 – Bajawa / Bena / Todolela / Bajawa
Start your morning with a drive to Wawomuda to trek to the crater of the volcano which should take around 1.5 hours. Then head back to Bajawa for breakfast before taking a trip to Bena and Todolela village. At these villages, you’ll get to learn about the Bajawa tribes and their megalithic culture. On your way to Ruteng you’ll stop at the Inerie volcano for some amazing photos. You’ll also get to trek to the Malanage hot spring to take a nice warm bath. Once you’ve filled your appetite with some lunch you’ll head back to Bajawa.
Day 4 – Bajawa / Ruteng / Labuan Bajo
Drive to Ruteng and make a stop at the Aimere village to see “arak” distillation and fresh palm juice tapping. You’ll also visit the Ranamese ake to view the peak of Mt. Inerie. Another stop will be made at Lembor or Cancar area to see the hidden wonder of the world “Lingko” which is a rice field in the shape of a spider web. Then check in to your new accommodation for the night and have a nice dinner.
Day 5 – Labuan Bajo / Rinca / Komodo
Be brought to the pier of Labuan Bajo where you’ll take a boat to Komodo and Rinca Island that’s infamous for it large population of the fearsome Komodo Dragons. Upon arrival at the island, you’ll commence a leisurely trek through the lush forests where you’ll get to see much diverse wildlife such as deer and wild pigs. Then return to the boat where you’ll be brought to Kalong Island in Komodo Island to see hundreds of flying foxes emerge from the mangroves at sunset.
Day 6 – Komodo / Pink Beach / Manta Point / Labuan Bajo
After breakfast head to the Labuan Bajo pier to catch a boat to Komodo Ranger station where you’ll start a trek. A local ranger will guide you through the dry forests and you’ll get to enjoy the sight of the tropical flora and fauna. Board the boat once again and head to Pink beach for some fun in the sun with swimming and snorkelling! You’ll also sail out to Manta Point to catch a glimpse of the giant manta rays in the clear ocean. Then its back to Labuan Bajo for a good night’s rest.
Day 7 – Labuan Bajo / Denpasar
On your last day, you’ll visit Batu Cermin Cave and a local market. The cave has a smooth reflective inner wall that when the light is shined on it gives a mirror-like effect. Then you’ll get to tour the local market for traditional snacks or souvenirs before heading to the airport to catch your flight.
