Tour Description:

Dalat located about 1,500 metres above sea level in the southern part of central Vietnam is a beautiful highland city. It is also the capital city of Lam Dong Province in Vietnam. Dalat has always been a popular tourist destination for both local and foreign tourists alike. With wonderful natures, exciting activities and beautiful sightings, Dalat is a perfect destination for a getaway for vacation. Due to it being situated high on top of the highlands, Dalat is blessed with a cool climate all year round. Now, Dalat offers a wide range of tourist activities for different kinds of tourist. There are many adventurous activities available in Dalat because of its wonderful unspoilt nature.

One of the activities that you will be able to do in Dalat will be whitewater rafting and it is exactly what this tour will bring you to experience. Whitewater rafting has been rising to prominence in recent years as many places are now offering this activity. This rafting trip will bring you to one of the least explored areas in Dalat and raft in the soaring Da Don River rapids. What better way to enjoy the wilderness of Vietnam’s exotic nature than this fantastic trip.

The tour starts with picking you up and then an hour of transfer to the Da Don Village. During the transfer journey, you can look at the scenic views on the way. Once we reach the village, we will get to the starting point immediately and start preparing for the rafting activities. Our professional guides will brief you on safety, procedures and techniques of rafting. After everyone is geared up and ready, hop on your rafts and get ready for an exciting adventure! This Da Don River encompasses rapids which are graded at class II to III. You will be using 2 man kayak style raft to navigate through this exciting river.

The first rapid that you will face is a Class 2 which will immediately challenge your calmness and skills as you avoid some of the huge rocks in the river. Upon finishing this part of rapids, you will be greeted by one of the two waterfalls on this trip. You will be required to portage the raft through the waterfall and then jump into the river 6 metres below. Then, you will get back into your raft and continue to follow the rapids of the river that brings you to follow the river flow. As your raft slowly rolls over the rapids, take some time to enjoy the beautiful sceneries at both sides of the river. Not long after, you will reach a coffee plantation area where once again you will need to portage the raft over the waterfall. Next, a series of intense rapids greets us vigorously as you battle to navigate your raft. Alas, you will reach a 3-kilometre flat section of the river.

After some rest in this calmer part of the rafting, brace yourself to meet the most intense section of the trip which is a huge section of class III rapids followed by a series of class II rapids. This section will definitely let your adrenaline pumped as non-stop action will be going on through the river. After this, you will compete for this 11 kilometres rafting activity through the Da Don River. We will have lunch at the riverside in picnic style and wait for our vehicle to meet us for the transfer back to Dalat.

Cancellation Policy:

• Trips that are cancelled within 24 hours of the start time of the trip will be charged out at 50%
• Trips that are cancelled more than 24 hours before the start of the trip will not be charged
• Exceptions may be made in case of extreme weather conditions on day trips only.
• Any deposits that are required in advance of a trip are for hotel or other travel services that may or may not be refundable, depending on the trip and time of cancellation.
