Tour Description:

Dalat is a highland city situated at approximately 1,500 metres above sea level. It is located at the southern part of Central Vietnam. Due to its high geographic location, Its climate all year round is always cooling with an average of 20-degree Celsius. While travelling around this beautiful city, you can’t help but notice that the buildings all have a Europe style architectural designs. This is because the city’s culture is influenced by the French during the colonial era. Thus, you will be able to see lots of pretty buildings around the city and there is even a replica of Eiffel Tower in the city too. Dalat is a popular tourist destination in Vietnam for lots of tourist both from local and international. There are lots of backpackers that loves to visit Dalat too.

One of the most famous activities that are done by tourists in Dalat will be canyoning. Canyoning is an activity that involves walking, climbing, rappelling, swimming and other outdoor techniques. By using these techniques, you will need to travel across the canyons carefully. It is a thrilling experience for adventure seekers and those who like to challenge themselves. Canyoning often involves scaling several waterfalls in the process. In this tour, we will be bringing you to traverse through a few wonderful waterfalls. We start this tour by picking you up and then drive towards the south of Dalat to reach the trailhead of our journey.

A short transfer through the beautiful highlands of Dalat and we will reach the trailhead. Once everyone is ready, we will then trek into the jungle to reach our practice spot. At the practice slope, you will be learning the basics of knot tying, harness wearing, hardware, and proper rappelling technique from our professional and skilled guides. These basics are not difficult to learn so do not worry if you have not tried canyoning before. This will be your first great experience on canyoning. Once our guides are satisfied with your canyoning techniques, you will proceed to your first rappel which is a 15 metres descent into the river below you.

You will see a beautiful waterfall right next to the descending spot. Then, we will head down further until we reach the spectacular Tyrolean Traverse that drops down and over a waterfall and the river. It will be like a natural water slide when you rappel down the waterfall. Remember what you learnt from the practice and use them properly as you traverse through the canyon. After that, we will do some jungle trekking over a few winding trails and rolling hills. At some part of the trekking, we will need to get into the river in order to continue our journey. Keep an eye out on any interesting things you can see in this exotic jungle. Alas, we will have 2 more canyoning section through waterfalls including the famous ‘Washing Machine’ before we get out of the canyon. Our vehicle will meet us and transport us back to Dalat.

Cancellation Policy:

• Trips that are cancelled within 24 hours of the start time of the trip will be charged out at 50%
• Trips that are cancelled more than 24 hours before the start of the trip will not be charged
• Exceptions may be made in case of extreme weather conditions on day trips only.
• Any deposits that are required in advance of a trip are for hotel or other travel services that may or may not be refundable, depending on the trip and time of cancellation.

• Please note one day in advance if you have special dietary requirements
• What to bring: Hat, sunscreen, repellent, swimsuit (if desired), camera, rain gear, comfortable walking shoes such as sport shoes or hiking boots. Sandals are not recommended
