Tour Description:

Wondering about what kind of fun and memorable activities you can do in Saigon? Well, why not join us in this cooking and shooting excursion to the Chu Chi Tunnels! After we pick you up in our restored military Jeep, we will drive you to the farm near Cu Chi Tunnels where we will participate in a special cooking class. Upon arrival, you can pick your own fresh produce from the farm and learn about how the locals utilise herbs and vegetables as food and traditional medicine. Once we have all the ingredients, our “celebrity chef” who has extensive experience in Australia will guide us to cook delicious local dishes and serve them as our lunch for the day.

There are two types of the menu which you can choose for this cooking class. The essential menu which consists of Vietnamese staple dishes such as spring rolls, barbecue (chicken, pork or beef) salad, caramel chicken with lemongrass and local dessert. Moreover, there is also an option to cook exotic menu which you have never thought of before coming here. Get ready to be amazed by how the exotic ingredients such as snake, scorpion, frog, paddy mouse and eel could be cooked into mouthwatering dishes!

Following the cooking class and our lunch break at the farm, we will head towards the historic Cu Chi Tunnels on our Jeep. While we are here, we will explore the tunnels used by the Viet Cong soldiers during the war and check out their underground living quarters. We will also discover the remnants of the Vietnam War here such as booby traps, bomb craters and abandoned American tank. If you are curious about how to use the war-era guns, you can also visit the nearby shooting range at your own expense. As we have toured the area to our hearts’ content, we will drive back to Saigon and end the tour once we drop you off at your hotel.
