Tour Description:

Day 1 – Arrive at Jakarta / Sunda Kelapa / Fatahillah Square / National Monument

Arrive at the airport and be greeted by your tour guide before starting your Jakarta city tour with a visit to Sunda Kelapa Harbour. This is a 500-year old port was used by the Dutch and Portuguese during the 15th and 16th century. This is an amazing piece of history and is a landmark that is popular amongst tourists, so you definitely don’t want to miss this. Then move on to visit Fatahillah Square and enjoy the cooling, fun atmosphere as you stroll around the square listening to the many buskers that set up shop there. This is area is bound to be full of tourists and locals alike as it is a popular meeting ground for all. Then visit the National Monument, one of the most popular landmarks in the city, where you can get an amazing view of Jakarta from the top of this tall structure. Head to a local restaurant for a delicious dinner before going to your hotel to check in.

Day 2 – Jakarta / Puncak / Cisarua

Start your day with a nice breakfast at the hotel before travelling to Bogor city to go to Tajur factory outlet for shopping. This mall has all the best deals and bargains, so expect to leave with an empty wallet. Then head to Gunung Mas Tea Plantation where you’ll get a beautiful panoramic view of the Gede Mountain. You’ll get to take as many photos of this magnificent mountain view before breaking for lunch. You’ll then travel to Cisarua to visit the Safari Park to get up close and personal with some of the majestic wild animals from all over the world! At the end of the day, you’ll drive back to Jakarta where you’ll have dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 3 – Indonesia Miniature Park / Indonesia Museum / ITC Mangga Dua Mall

Your first activity of the day is a visit to the Indonesian Miniature Park to get a little taste of the country’s culture and traditions. At the park, there are different collections that depict aspects of the daily lives of the locals as well as their traditional dances and replicas of their clothing. Then head on to the Indonesia Museum to travel back into the past of Indonesia and get a glimpse at their rich history. You’ll get to learn so much about Indonesia with is an amazing collection of prehistoric artefacts and many more. Your last stop of the day is to the ITC Mangga Dua Mall for a quick shopping spree where you can get souvenirs or a new wardrobe for a good price! During your day out lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurants, so don’t worry. Once the day comes to an end you’ll be brought to the hotel for you to rest.

Day 4 – Plaza Indonesia / Mangga Dua Mall / Grand Indonesia Mall

Have a good breakfast before starting the day with a visit to Plaza Indonesia, one of the oldest malls in Jakarta and is also one of the most popular amongst the locals. This mall is more known for its high-end shops and brands, selling many international fashion brands. For those looking for more affordable shopping, the Mangga Dua Shopping mall is more up your alley as they have better deals for items. Then continue your shopping spree at the Grand Indonesia Mall, a huge shopping centre with brands from all over the world, mostly high-end, such as Chanel and Gucci. After a full day shopping, you’ll go back to the hotel where you’ll have the rest of the day to yourself to spend however you choose.

Day 5 – Depart Jakarta

Your last day in Jakarta is a free and easy day where you can have your breakfast at your own pace. Then as it gets closer to your flight departure, check out of your hotel before being dropped off at the airport where you’ll say goodbye to Jakarta.
