Tour Description:

Cat Ba Island is part of a chain of 366 islands that lie within the larger area of Ha Long Bay. At over 200 sq.km, Cat Ba Island is the largest island in the bay area known for its beauty and easy access from the mainland. Its diversity and popularity offer visitors the option of relaxation, adventure or cultural exchange as they go around exploring the beautiful sights and unparalleled natural wonders of the area. In fact, back in April 2005, UNESCO officially recognized Cat Ba as an Archipelago Biosphere Reserve, adding further credibility to the beauty and majesty of Cat Ba Island. 

You will be picked up at your hotel and immediately afterwards, you will transfer to Tuan Chau Island. You will then take the ferry through the bay and head to Gia Luan Pier on Cat Ba Island to begin your adventure. You will head to Cat Ba National Park, a park teeming with the beautiful flowers native to Cat Ba. The trail will lead you to Kim Giao Forest where you will find various species of wood, some of which have the ability to detect toxins. Then, you will make your way to Ngu Lam and head to the mountain summit where you will be greeted by the panoramic view of the island in its full glory. This is also a good spot to take commemorative photos as you pick your best spot for your picture. Then, head back to the bottom and pass through the Quan Y Cave, a naturally forming cave filled with beautiful formation of limestone and tough rocks. Your local guide will show you around the interior of the cave and tell you more about how this cave was used as a wartime hospital by the resistance during the Vietnam War. In fact, it had 3 floors filled with medical supplies that were used to aid the sick and injured during wartime. Finally, you will make your way back to Cat Ba Town and relax on the beach before having lunch.

With lunch done, you will head back to Ha Long via the ferry and conclude your tour.

Cancellation Policy:

• All cancellation from guest incur additional charges as follows:
• 48 hours before the departure day: 50% charge of the total tour cost.
• After 48 hours before the departure day or no-show: 100% charge of the total tour cost
• Customers cannot receive any types of compensation in the case of annulations is due to a force majeure
