Take a beautifully verdant tour through Carangsari village that will have you strolling past lush patches of rice paddy fields and fragrant coffee and cocoa plantations. In this beautiful village, the opportunity to get close to and explore nature is presented to you. To start off your adventure, you will depart from your hotel and meet at the start point with your guide to carry out your registration. During your coffee or tea break, you will undergo a briefing that informs you of the day’s itinerary.
On your trek, you will pass by the Bali Elephant Camp that is situated between the scenic rice paddies, jungle and the Ayung River. Stop by the monument of I Gusti Ngurah Rai, a statue of a historical Balinese national hero that contributed to the independence of Indonesia. Visit a typical Balinese household and observe the daily routines of the villagers that carry influences of Hinduism or Buddhism. Your trek ends at Sangeh Monkey Forest, a sacred sanctuary where grey long-tailed macaques make their home amongst large primordial nutmeg trees.
