Visit the bustling and lively floating market in Can Tho and take part in its busy riverbank lives around the area.
The history of floating market dates back to the 17th and 18th century when the Mekong Delta was first formed. Transport between the neighbouring village from different sides of the river could only be done via boat. It was meant to transport items and goods along the river. However, the local soon found that it was easier to make the river a common gathering for both neighbouring villages to sell their merchandise since it is easily accessible for the people from both sides. Thus, the floating river was born. As you go on this adventure along Can Tho Floating market, you will also get to enjoy and experience many other fun and adventure around the river - all parts of the local lifestyle around the river.
