Day 1 – Arrive at Jakarta / Sunda Kelapa / Fatahillah Square / National Monument
Be welcomed to Jakarta by a tour guide as you step off the plane and begin your holiday with a visit to Sunda Kelapa Harbour. This 500-year old port was a popular trade location and was mainly used by the Dutch and Portuguese during the 16th century. Your next stop is to Fatahillah Square to enjoy the fun atmosphere of the busy area with all its entertaining buskers. You can see singers, live statues and even fire breathers at this popular meeting point for tourists and locals alike. After touring this historical landmark and observing its colonial style buildings, move on to the National Monument. Ascend this tall structure and get an amazing panoramic view of the Jakarta city skyline, so definitely get your cameras ready at this location. At the end of the day, you’ll be dining at a nice restaurant before going to check in at your hotel.
Day 2 – Jakarta / Puncak / Cisarua
After a delicious and filling breakfast, you’ll journey to Bogor city to visit the Tajur factory outlet. This place is a great spot for shopping for great deals on a variety of goods and products. Then head towards the Gunung Mas Tea plantation to get a great view of the Gede mountain that is definitely a sight you won’t want to miss. Snap all the pictures you want of the mountain before being having your lunch at a local restaurant. Get ready for adventure and excitement as you head to Cisarua for the Safari park. You’ll get a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness majestic wild animals from a safe, caged truck. You’ll then drive back to Jakarta for dinner before returning to the hotel.
Day 3 – Indonesia Miniature Park / Indonesia Museum / ITC Mangga Dua Mall
Your day starts with a visit to the popular attraction: the Indonesian Miniature Park. At the park, you’ll get to see different depictions of the daily lives of the local people. You’ll also get to see other things such as depictions of their traditions, dances and authentic replicas of the clothing. If you want to get a taste of Indonesia’s culture and traditions, you definitely won’t want to miss this. You’ll also get to visit the Indonesian Museum to learn more about the country’s rich history and the many influences that created the country we know today. Then get ready for a shopping spree as you head to Mangga Dua Mall to get anything you could possibly want at a good price. Don’t worry about lunch and dinner as you’ll get to eat at local restaurants during the tour. As night comes, its time to go back to the hotel to rest for the night.
Day 4 – Plaza Indonesia / Mangga Dua Mall / Grand Indonesia Mall
Fill your stomach with as much food as you can at breakfast, as you prepare for a busy day of shopping, shopping and more shopping! First on the list is Plaza Indonesia which is one of the oldest malls in Jakarta and is also the most popular amongst the locals. Despite being the oldest mall, it is known for its high-end brands from all the new international fashion brands which might make you break your bank after shopping here. Then move on to Mangga Dua mall for more affordable shopping, perfect for those who are on a budget. Last stop of the day is to the Grand Indonesia Mall, another high-end shopping centre. This mall similar to Plaza Indonesia is a huge mall selling high-end goods from all over the world from brands such as Chanel and Gucci. Then head back to the hotel after a shopping spree and you’ll have the rest of the day to spend however you choose.
Day 5 – Depart Jakarta
Have a chill day after breakfast and be free to do as you please before having to check out of the hotel. After checking out, you’ll be driven to the airport where you’ll have to bid farewell to Jakarta as you board your plane.
