Experience a different side of Malacca as you have a fun-filled day at Animal World Safari and Cowboy Town!
Take a trip down south, as we escape the hectic capital of Kuala Lumpur, 150 km away to the historically and culturally rich Malacca. Malacca was a large port during the 15th century and was a central port for Asia for both the Chinese and Portuguese. Today, the remnants of forts and defences erected to protect Malacca against invasions still stand as the modern civilisation slowly surrounded them.
The A’Famosa Resort is built at the entrance to the town of Malacca and contains an amusement park and a carnival for families of all ages. Within the vicinity of the resort lies the charming A’Famosa Animal World Safari, where various animals roam freely in a 150-acre plot of land where a Safari Truck encompasses the area filled with tigers, lions, giraffes, camels, zebras, elephants and other creatures. You can also get up close and personal with the animals with activities such as feeding and riding the elephants. In the evening, head over to the A’Famosa Cowboy Town, where shows and entertainment for all ages are elaborately set up. Get up close with fire-breathers and an animal parade before ending the night with a bang at the fireworks display.
